Marion’s commitment to socially conscious business has been a defining element throughout her career. As Operations Director of Renewal Partners, a firm dedicated to investing in conservation-minded businesses, Marion developed financial models, accounting policies and human resources procedures. At Communicopia, Marion liaises with major investors and provides financial and accounting guidance.
Marion is Associate Director of Sage Centre dedicated to conservation, education, and leadership development. A former teacher in the Yukon and BC’s Interior, Marion’s facility in handling human resources and managing organizations has been a boon to the many small businesses that have called upon her for consultation. Her expertise has taken her as far away as Africa where she worked as a Development Advisor for World University Services. Marion graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce and has held her Chartered Accountant designation since 1981.
